About the author
What I enjoy writing
I enjoy writing anything from articles to poetry to
novels. I love writing for children. Over the last six
years, I have written several picture books and a
middle grade novel. These are waiting to find the
perfect home! I also enjoy writing personal
essays--filled with my opinions and observations of
our wonderful world. Recently, I fell in love with
articles as you can see in the column to the left!
Where I've been published
I've been published in several different magazines,
newsletters, anthologies, and on websites. Here
are some of the publications: Missouri Life, True
Love, The News-Gazette, Fellowscript, Grit, The
Storyteller, ByLine, Pockets, Octavo, God Allows
U-Turns Vol. 4, The Cuivre River Anthology, Living
by Faith, The Write Words, Written Wisdom, The
DogGone Newsletter, Anthology, and Beginnings.
Big Successes
My biggest success so far is the acceptance of my
on-line book by Reading A-Z, titled Operation Color
Change. It is the story of Logan, a boy who loves only
blue. This upsets the color fairies, and they decide to
teach Logan a lesson he'll never forget. They change
EVERYTHING- stoplights, dogs, and baby
sisters-blue! I am also excited to have sold a party
plan, titled "Fall Festival," to Highlights for Children
and a science article to Fun for Kidz.
